Sharm El Sheikh Diving Information. Divers can dive on ever more beautiful sites as much as they want and when they want. In Sharm el-Sheikh, both diving and snorkelling can be rewarding just stepping out from the beach into the shallow sea.
There are great reefs in Na'ama Bay, Ras Um Sid and Shark's Bay. But you will soon see plenty of offers for short or long excursions. Not only does this offer variation, but also experiences that should not be missed.

When joining some of the joint diving and snorkelling excursions, note that the value for snorkellers can sometimes be limited.
Many visitors to Sharm el-Sheikh take dive courses while down here. The quality of the courses vary somewhat, but many are of good quality. For many foreigners, prices are attractive, but not for all. Western countries with many dive centres, often offer better prices as well as better preparation for cold-water diving.

Some of divenames...
JACKSON REEF 4*25 m :
Huge reef in the middle of the strait of Tiran (80 minutes from Naama Bay), whose top is at a depth of approximately 1 meter, and which has almost vertical walls. The west part is indeed very interesting, with great corals from 25 to 5 meters (including a red anemone at 25 m). All these corals (mainly soft) virtually cover each square centimetre of the reef, and are surrounded by huge amounts of small fish. Some larger specimen are seen in the blue... as well as 2 large puffer fish right in the corals. The part located on the east side is less interesting, slightly more vertical but with less life. The temperature is a little cooler than on the other diving sites.
